Pedometer

Did you know what a pedometer is before «Schritt auf Tritt»?

The rules

  1. You walk 10,000 paces a day, five days a week. If you manage to do this, either on your own or as part of a team, you will reach Bregenz in six weeks. The project starts on 19 April 2010, and you are scheduled to arrive on 30 May.
  2. If you don't reach your target on every day of a particular week or weeks, you can make up the deficit in subsequent weeks. If you accumulate a deficit of six days, for example, you would have to walk seven days a week for three weeks to make it up.
  3. You can't build up a "bank" of paces in advance. That means that unless you have a deficit to make up, you can only enter your daily 10,000 paces on five days a week, for a maximum of 50,000 paces a week.
  4. One team member's surplus can't be used to make up another's deficit.
